WANTED
Miniature luthier to
replace missing bridge

This violin was carved in an attempt to challenge the Guinness Book of World Records for the smallest 'playable' violin.  It measures 5-1/4" from scroll to tailpiece.  The tuning pegs turn, and the body is hollow complete with base bar and sound post.  It comes complete with a bow and custom case.  The miniature travelled as part of a collection of a private collection of unique instruments during which time the bridge went missing.  It is back in the family's possession after a 30 year hiatus.

We cannot verify whether the violin was ever submitted to, or acknowledged by, Guinness, although internet searches have found articles making cryptic references to ' the 5-1/4 '.
